The hand drawn sign at the front of the Loch March clubhouse said it all: "Welcome Slammer Tour"!. There is no practice green in the area that equals the front lawn spread offered at this fantastic public course and the staff is certainly the friendliest and most professional group we have ever encountered. While the mosquitos seem to have found the ultimate breeding ground (you just have to read the quotables to get a feel of how this little pest plagued the Slammers ) it is certainly outweighed by the incredible layout with perfectly groomed fairways and greens. The friendly deers that have the run of the course also add to the whole experience. The patio overlooking the course was picturesque but the inside of the clubhouse was a welcome haven from the skeeters and that's where we summarized our event and finished off the day.
