TIS TIME! The annual Golf-O-Max fall getaway, to one of Ontario's best courses. So we are here. Malone organized such a great event that we had to call Smuggsy twice to increase the numbers. Well it is time and 40 slammers are set to match today. Even injured ones are out - the Maiden can hardly walk but there she is. The cars are showing up, the Smuggler's staff are moving the clubs to the carts and the Added Value Renovations putting contest is fully under way. There is a lot of activity over there at the range as people are loosening up. We are welcomed, take a group picture, loaded into carts and off we go. Yes slammers AGAIN, for the 4th year in a row our #1 has arrived to defend. I wonder if he knows that the last three years, a new leader ended each day.

  • WOW! The TanCo doggies were 39 bones and the furthest winner today was 4' away. YES all five doggies were between 2-4 feet. The winners are some guy named Ticklar, Pozzo, Stevie Ray, Ruskie, and rookie Tooth Fairy, who wasn't aware that she shouldn't leave a good ball. Will whoever picked it up please email me so that we could return it to her.

  • Speaking about bones, three others received some for their work with our feathered friends. Burnsy on 6 and RipZone (10) collected 45 for their birdie skins. First timer Hazy collected 90 for his birdie / EAGLE combo on 11 & 12.. Congratulations Hazy for getting the 28th Slammer Tour EAGLE for the season. I predict there will be a 29th tomorrow.

  • Playing alongside the Tour, today and about to make an entry into ClubEG's Hall of Fame is Gord Pickup -

  • Yes sure the club pro {Slickster} led the way with three birdies. Congrats, but you weren't alone. There was a tie for the lead today. One of our Super Seniors accomplished his on 8, 13, & 17. Bookie, in his 341st event gets his 10th multi-birdie day, however this is his first HATTRICK - the author of the weekly reviews better make this one of his TOP 18 next week.
