Many of our friends were across town, with the snowbirds in the air, witnessing #1 defend successfully at his home course. We headed west to get AMBUSHED and eat ribs. Our fireworks were very entertaining and although a shotgun event usually drags on, we didn’t. We would have been even faster then the 4.5 hour round had we not of caught some public thrown in ahead of us at the turn. Today we played our 73rd event. We welcomed the 183rd – 188th golfers to slam this season. Mark & Gail, Dale and the rest of the staff were at their best. THANK YOU PAM, and next time Dale, we will have to hand that off more cloak and daggerlike.

  • Today's event was part of an annual event at Canadian. A shotgun, that the Slammer Tour accepted the challenge of leading. Congratulations for leading the way and getting in as early as an hour before so many of the other golfers.

  • Honourable Mentions today go out to the big boys. Burnsy caught Malone at the 18th for their second career draw. Burnsy had 5 birds to Malone’s 4. Both had 2 skins. Malone also added 2 dogs to bring home 54 bones.

  • HMs also go to Digger upsetting RipZone {151st to 12th} and Billiards who upset Grumpy to jump from 120 to 89.

  • The horn on the hummer threw off Billiards.
