The forecast called for showers to dampen the Slammer event but not a drop hit us during the 4 hours we played. If you dressed for the conditions, you enjoyed the conditions and the day. For mid-October the course conditions are outstanding with really true, tricky and quick greens. The 8 turkeys and 5 coyotes on the course seemed to fit well into the regular Thursday events as we watched them over the course of the season. Happy to say, there were no Slammer turkeys at the event but you know there never are! A sweet time was had by all as we give thanks to the golf gods and we celebrate the week after Thanksgiving.
