I have golfed here only about half a dozen times before and today, this course was the best conditioned that I have ever seen it. Along the back where we play 12-15 beside water, even the bugs seemed to give us a bit of a reprieve (well not to Mulder). Today is the 21st Slammer Tour event here, but the Tour hasn’t been here since September 13, 2015. Steel Crazy didn’t have his best score here that day! I hope that we are back soon. Come experience it and tell me what course that you would compare it to.

  • Slammer Tour at Upper Canada – Boomer (here for the 11th time), BullDog (6th) and Bubba (2nd), are the only three of today’s field that have Slammed here before. This is Grumpy’s first time Slamming here (his 77th different course that he has Slammed at). For Bubba, he lost a TC match here on July 25, 2010. That was a D division match to Captain Crunch

  • A few tidbits about Upper Canada – The record low score here is 75. It was achieved by Chilly on Sept. 3, 2006 and matched by The Kid, three years and 9 days later. The previous 110 matches here averaged 92.66 score.

  • As for holes on this course, #3 is the 46th easiest hole on the Tour (21st easiest par 3). For us today we had 90% pars and bogies and a Sutty double. Number 14 is the 14th hardest (5th hardest par five) on the Tour. Today we did not disappoint. We had four 7s and six 8s (can you say Marshes 2, or Lombard Glen 15?) which ended up dropping this hole to 4th hardest dipping below Smuggler’s 18.

  • MILESTONES – AngryBird & BullDog each just missed one today. Grumpy’s dog on hole 15 was his first since April 24th. Eleven weeks with all that pressure! Today he gets his 100th career doggie (23rd Slammer to reach that plateau). The other MILESTONE is mentioned over there on the right under second star.

  • Three holes (2,5,&10)today were cut off from being a skin. Those three holes all had the skin cut off in the same group (each hole by one different group).

  • Marshall says to Mulder after watching him hit his driver "What's on your club (head of it)?" "It is a Club Crown, you can put pictures on the head of your club." "You should put your girlfriend's picture on it." "Her picture is on the golf ball!"

  • Speaking about pictures - have you seen the facebook picture of our doggie / skin Master?

  • THANX AGAIN Mulder for handling dogs and skins. I hope your Broker 4 Tickets reps thanx you accordingly.

  • What happens when you cross a Grumpy and an Angry? Look there to the right - hole 15. The ONLY two birdies of the day in this seedy group were on the same hole.
