Always fun to get back to a track we haven't played in a while and today the Slammers were following the Ottawa Sun Scramble qualifier at Hammond. Weather was picture perfect and there was a great atmosphere around with the qualifier on the go. It was a fun round with six great Slammers and the 19th had tables big enough for all to safely gather around. Always fun to get to know the newer Slammers on Tour and certainly great to catch up with some old rivalries. As we were finishing the round we saw Lucky and a few others accompanying the playoffs going on and as Juice quoted on the patio "Who'd a thought Hammond would be the place to be on a Thursday night !". Great day all around
Mr le Pouf is always a pleasure to play with, certainly a gentlemen in the Slammer world on and off the course. Today he got to take on Juice for the #1 spot in the A division and he wins the match 3&1 and now sits as the top A on Tour ! He gets a couple of points for that #1 takover and another couple for the draw against IronMaiden. No dogs or skins just a tidy little round to give him top honours today. And just a note that he lived up to his nickname as he was there one minute and gone the next. We finished the wrap up and "pouf" he was outa there! Congrats ! Great playing
