Not too hard to believe it's May 2 4 already with the fantastic span of warm sunny weather we've been having. Today's double header at Champlain hosted four groups of Slammers in the morning with OC Pepilepu and even though we were just a single foursome for the afternoon event it was fun as always with some close matches where all were decided after the 15th, three on the 16th and the last on the 18th. Our newest Slammer approached the group on the first tee to introduce himself and it only took a second to nickname him Hanson. We didn't get to do a patio wrap up but this time next week the patios will once again be open and we will be able to enjoy a beverage and share some tales of our day with our fellow Slammers. Looking forward to many more fun days Slamming in 2021.
Three wins and a tight dog on the second par three of the day gives IronMaiden top points honors today. But I must, as OC, mention it was actually a tie today for these honors as Chipmein has an equally great day on the course ! Two wins including a defence win against rookie Hanson also gives this 2019 Stirling Points Indoor champ an equal amount of points and five points closer to meeting his 2021 points goals. I am happy and proud to share the top of the points podium with Chipmein today! Congrats
