All week there was a forecast for rain today but none appeared at Canadian. Groups were sent off with the top dog in each group introducing the low man on the ranking ladder and after he teed off that Slammer introduced the next Slammer and so on. It was a way to get Slammer involved and to see how much they knew about the Slammer they were introducing. It worked well. The course was playing a little tough today as Canadian was not willing to give up birdies. There were only 2 birdies and 1 eagle and they each won a skin. Exciting news as there is a new B1 Slammer and two Semi-final CMPC matches where the winners advance to the finals. About half of the matches were determined on the 18th and about half a dozen stayed for the 19th hole wrap-up. Another great day at Canadian playing Slammer golf. Your OC, KC.
The event winner today, Ali G, had an outstanding day Slammin'. Ali G takes down Chipmein and Duke on the 13th hole and defeats Gator on the 14th. And he becomes the new top Slammer in the B division (B1). Ali G played so well he registers a sweet A score, 9 strokes below his median. Outstanding performance Ali G! Congratulations!
