The first group was scheduled to teeoff at 3 o’clock and the fourth group scheduled to tee off at 3:30 seemed to make for a tight finish given Sunset was at 7:28. An email was sent out to all participants talking about the pace of play and playing ready golf. The Slammers rose to the occasion as all four groups finished under four hours. It was such a pleasure to play an event when everyone comes in under 4 hours. Only 3 of the 4 holes had doggies but 4 winners? And OMG 5 birdies but only 2 skin winners. And there is a new D1 in the house, Razz. Marmotte, Razz, Guyzer and KC enjoy the 19th hole. A great day on the links. Your OC, KC.
The event winner, Chevy, came out to play Slammermatch play golf. And play he did. He wins matches versus fellow Slammers Guyzer, Bwoo and The General. He wins a dog and a half, has a birdie and wins one of only 2 skins today. He is the big bones winner for the day. Chevy’s fine Slammer performance is becoming habit forming. Congratulations!

Course Report
The course was not as busy as the previous event making it a pleasure to play Hammond today. Fairways were running nice with a few areas of dry spots. The greens tended to be longer (fuzzier) and slower than usual. They had lots of traffic on them today. Nice open 19th hole patio. Thank you Hammond.

OC is informed by Slammer Central that there is historical precedent about doggie ties. The doggie winnings for that hole is shared 50/50 and a coin toss determines who gets the stat and recognition for that dog. AliG gets the stat for that dog.
