Pine View was wet due to the snow and rain we experienced yesterday coupled with a chilly gusting wind today made playing conditions challenging to say the least. Some Slammers played well enough under these tough conditions to score match play wins while others not so much. A2 and C1 were in the house and successfully defended their high ranks in their division. And OMG we had a C division Slammer kick butt today. Thank you my fellow Slammers for coming out to Slamm at Pine View. It looks like now late April and early May will bring out some enjoyable, consistent weather and super playing conditions. Grasshopper was on fire today racking up a whopping 21 Stirling Johnston Points. This C Slammer goes 3-0-0, scores some big upsets and has match play wins vs P-Bomb (A8), Shades (A5) and Ali G (B15). He registers one birdie and takes home an incredible 3 dogs out of the 5. He also volunteered as the Skins master. His match game was great and so was his stroke play game as he registers the low round of the day at 85. What a way to celebrate your 100th career Slammer event. Water accumulation was everywhere, particularly on the back 9 after the snow and rain storm we experienced yesterday. Hopefully the course will dry out nicely over the next several days.
