Great event at Stittsville with three evened out groups of Slammers representing the As, Bs and Cs with one rookie Slammer, Zipadeedoodah, playing in his very first event on Tour - Welcome! The weather was not welcoming at all though with rain, sleet and even a little snow coming down as we gathered on the front patio. But as the first group left the cover of the clubhouse it seemed as though mother nature knew it was time to change her tune... by the time all three groups were on the course it was a beautiful spring day for golf and that great weather accompanied us for the balance of our round.
Moz was a Man Of Zen today as he steadily defended against all that tried to take his rank, early on with The Enigma and Tiger and held off Duke with a par on the 18th to take that win 2&0. A little sharp shooting with book-end doggies on the first and last doggie holes of the day and he didn't need the dog on the 8th today to birdie that hole and take the skin. Well done and keep up the great playing!

Course Report
So many great improvements at Stittsville and many more on the go as all their bunkers are being rebuilt, the pro shop has had a super nice facelift and the patio looks like it is prepped and ready for a great summer!

Cinderella story: I forgot my golf shoes and took the chance that Stittsville pro shop would have a supply.... well when I got there their pro Jason says "Well, I have only 1 pair of golf shoes and yes they are ladies. What size are you?" to which I reply a ladies size 7. "Wow, well this is your lucky day Cinderella !!!" I got an awesome new paid of FootJoys and Jason gave me a killer deal.
