It was a sold out event earlier in the week but the forecast played havoc with the numbers as 19 bailed with 9 remaining this morning and DJD coming in as a last minute entry. The golf gods smiled on these Slammers as the 3 groups did not experience any showers or rain. Very little casual water on the course from earlier... hardly noticeable. A hot, humid, and sunny day to enjoy Slammer golf. Oh so manageable and so enjoyable... and no hold ups on the course. How do we describe our good fortune... golf gods smiling, lucking out or trusting the earlier forecast to change for the better. Whatever it was, we enjoyed another great day of Slammer Tour golf. For the 11th time this season and the fourth time in the last week, Cracker is the event winner🏆. He is on a super roll and successfully defends his C1 spot vs KidsClub and Rocky Roy. He increases his lead as the points leader in the S/J points race. In the last 4 events he has won 57 S/J points which is more S/J points than the bottom 300 Slammers each earned so far this season. He has won the C1🤴 spot more times than any other C, successfully defended C1 more time than anyone and held C1 longer than any other C Slammer this season. Simply an outstanding streak for Cracker. Congratulations.

Course Report
The shower in the morning made the greens receptive and provided less summer roll on the fairways. Overall the course is in great shape for match play golf and we did see lots of work going on in improving the course. Not enough showers from earlier this morning for cart paths only to be established. All the Slammers walked. Thank you Pine View.
