We had six Slammers attend today's event with two CMPC semi final matches being played as well. It was a day of good scoring from the group with the highlight being a fine 73 by Hero which included 2 fine eagles. Only 2 dogs were claimed out of 4 and both were taken by McDon. It was a small group but we avoided the rain and remained dry which was a fortunate result. I can’t wait to play this course again: it’s a beauty.
Hero is our top Slammer today accumulating a impressive 13 Stirling Johnston points in such a small group. He defeated McDon and Wee Dram, had two eagles, two birdies, beat his median by seven shots and won his CMPC match over McDon. What a wonderful round of golf by our Hero, Stan Hogan. Well done, sir. Well deserved.
