We had 12 Slammers out today with battles in the A, B and C divs and we crowned a new A1. It was a shotgun start which caused us all to have a few issues with scoring but we got it done in the end. We were a happy bunch today and why not, we golfed just before all the rain came down and had the best of the weather. Nine of our group scored better than their medians, so well done Slammers.
“What a player”… Moz is the event winner today and well deserved I have to say. He had two wins and a tie in his group, he had 5 birdies, 4 skins, 1 dog, beat his median by a considerable amount (9 shots) and is the new A1. He ended up with 18 Stirling Johnston Points and with his winnings he made a nice donation to the kids. Well done, Moz. Well played.
