Nov 14 and the Slammers are still golfing in the heart of the city. There was a frost delay but it did not have any affect on our tee times. Three groups enjoyed a November day on the links. There were 12 matches in play today and 11 of them ended in successful defences. All 10 Slammers scored in the 90s. Not a birdie in sight while 3 skins won all with pars. Four of the 5 dogs taken with Char taking half of them. It was a very manageable day if one was dressed for the expected temperature but it was great just to be swinging the clubs and playing Slammer match play golf in the middle of November. Thank you my fellow Slammers.
KidsClub is today's Matheson Group Realty event winner as he has match play wins vs Bookie and Gardie and squeaks a draw against Nicky. He manages a par skin good for some bones. Congratulations to KC... I know that guy!! 🙂

Pine View was a bit wet since both the absorption rate and the evaporation rate decrease as the overnight temperature goes below zero. For this time of year greens were good and fairways were running. PineView staff always treat the Slammers well. Thank you Pine View.
