Weather looked iffy leading up to the event but it pays to review the hourly forecast specific to the venue. Today, the bakers dozen of Slammers that treked up the valley to White Lake to play Mountain Creek won the forecast lottery ! Yes it was overcast when we started our day and even had a hole or so of drizzle but that was soon gone and the rest of the day was sunny and quite warm. We gathered on the back patio overlooking the 18th green to finish our day and went old school as we had to do the skins the old fashioned way. Yes that's right, hole by hole and it was actually fun to discover who won the skins live like that. Dogs were also announced but it was not until later in the evening that the system allowed us to update the points and discover our event winner for the day. Congrats to Sunny and to all that attended today. Great day with a great group of Slammers.
Sunny had a great day at the creek and defended all that challenged taking the wins against Razz, Mongo and Chipmein and he only needed 14 holes to get 'er done! Two birdies were circled on his card, one held for the skin and he stroked a solid 80 that was a full five strokes below is median. Awesome and thanks for bringing the sun with you Sunny!
