At 11:20am on Saturday April 6th., 2013 rookie Ferg (now known as Bugsy) stepped up and drove a picture perfect ball down fairway #1 at Prescott GC. It was a long, snowy, long and snowy, snowy long winter and the numbers at today's first home event of the season showed how anticipated this day was. Twenty eight Slammers made their way down the 416 to Prescott (OK, Grumpy walked up the street) setting a new record of attendance for the first home event of the year. The sun was out which helped make the 5 degree temperature very comfortable and only a mild breeze was present to remind us to look up and appreciate the views of the St Lawrence seaway below. The anticipation of seeing that first drive leave our clubs was almost unbearable. Here we go! As Bubba Watson says, welcome to Two Thousand Trisitine!
