Add Only five Slammers challenge mother nature and the Slamners got the best of her. The aftermath of the pouring rain yesterday left us with a course that did not accept carts on it. Balls would plug in the fairway and greens big time. Knowing that all par 3 s are elevated here , a golfer lost his ProV 1 #6 right on the green ,plugged in deep on the putting surface. Speaking of surface ... punched greens , damp, soft ...signs that we are getting close to the end of another great year of golfing in the OVGA FingZ
Who needs a putter ? Our event winner drained both of his birdies from the rough as far as 30 yrds out !! Shooting 84 without taking the big stick out once... Great round Chevy , always a pleasure to be in your group
