All week long Slammers monitored the weather to see if that threat of rain, thunder and lightning would continue for today's event which was the last day of June and the 1st day of Step 2 of reopening. 7 groups of Slammers, including 4 CMPC matches, stuck it out and were rewarded with no rain, no showers, great course playing conditions, a fun bunch of Slammers and a super enjoyable 19th hole on the patio. It felt so normal, like a precovid Slammer event. And the trajectory appears to indicate we will enjoy a somewhat normal summer of Slammin'. Thank you my fellow Slammers for bringing us back to normal. Your OC, KC.
NikeMom has a super day Slammin' and Slam she did. A stalwart on the Tour, she successfully defends her rank against all comers taking down challengers Stevie Ray, Kaki and CheckPoint. She registers a birdie which is good for a Skin. And NikeMom shoots a whopping 7 below her median and flirts with a near A score. Congratulations NikeMom!!

The course is in really great playing condition. The rain has help with fairways and the greens were sooooooo fast but true. Always a joy to play a Slammer event at Cedarhill! And the 19th hole on the patio was so well spaced out with tables and chairs and the service was excellent!
