Today was the Rockland Club championship day and the Slammers followed those golfers. It turned out to be a near 5 hour round. Course conditions were great but not as challenging as last week’s Sun Scramble finals according to Steamer the club captain and a former Slammer. Simply a joy to play in this type of warm weather without showers or bugs, in these excellent course conditions and with some fun enjoyable Slammers. Five dogs taken by 5 different Slammers, 13 skins reported with 1 multiple winner and the CMPC Parent Child A champions determined.Matches were close as 18 matches were determined on the 17th or 18th hole.
