In our last event until New Years Eve we had 5 groups and 18 Slammers take on Aviara @ the GOLFOMAX sims. Thanks to our volunteers and the GOM staff for a great evening. There were 4 dogs and 4 skins tonight (lowest # of skins so far this year) each prize was worth 21 bones with 2 bones going to the kids this week. Congrats to InsaneWayne and Ozone on become the new Number 1s in their respective divisions. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! See you all in the New Year!
Ozone is today's event winner despite some misfortunes on the back nine. He collects both doggies on the front nine from 12 and 24 feet respectively. He made 3 birdies 1 of them good for a skin. He goes home with a total of 63 bones which is the highest total I think so far this year out of any Slammer for 1 event. He shoots 5 strokes below his median and becomes the new Number 1 in the A division. All of this to say, Ozone collected 17 Matheson Group Realty points for his efforts, great round! Will we see Ozone in the Open division this year?

Aviara was a great course but be careful for out of bounds and heavy undergrowth. We played midday with clear skies and BREEZY winds. Greens saw MEDIUM difficulty pins coupled with MODERATELY hard and MEDIUM fast greens. Fairway hardness was MODERATE.
