Kirkulese came back, but without Newton. Two first time Slammers made their inaugural event. A big welcome goes out to Weenie, a new slammette, and Boomer's nephew is Maverick. Big Guy, Hammy & Woody all came out for their second events. Two more rookies and 12 other more experienced Slammers, came to play and check out the home of next week's Commish cup. The cup was also there, many were afraid to touch it, and the banner looked great. See you all on Saturday for the 4th annual. Will we have a repeat winner for the first time?

  • The POP today was a little slow. Some want to say due to the heat, but this OC thinks that maybe ALL Slammers have to be aware and improve when it is needed. Such as the 'ready' golf if you get to the tee, addressing your shot when sombody else is away, and having at least 1 or 2 in the group go ahead and shoot if somebody looks for a ball.

  • Two TC matches were decided today, with KaDaver advancing to the Elite Eight in the senior, defeating Stringer. HELFM became the 2nd Slammer to advance in the "C" class when he took down Hammy on the 15th.

  • Honourable mentions today go out to Ripzone for his 3-0 record and a skin. Kirkulese, playing in his first event {thus having a low 164 ranking}, took down Rulz to move into 16th spot. Another goes out to Big Guy for his upset and thus "ranking jump" of 65 spots. A fourth HM was given out at the event, for Tones upset of KaDaver, to move into 11th spot and make TEAM EAST {the auditor's are currently checking the sheets, there seems to be an error somewher...

  • "We are done Kid's Club." Grumpy and KC shake hands! "Congratulations, you are the first person to put somebody in the 100 loss category this season."

  • "What do you shoot?" "Somewhere between 86 & 94." Well Weenie promptly goes out and shoots 91.

  • "Grumpy, what is your nickname?"

  • It must have been too hot for anybody to write. Therefore the OC can be quoted thanking Doggie Master Ripzone for reporting that each 10 foot / 25 bone doggy went to Rulz, Digger and Malone {2}. Also "thank you" Chilly, as Skin Master, mentioning that Malone's 5 birdies, Rulz {2} and Ripzone's were all 11 bone skins. The cut-off birds were all covered in the second star report.
