The motto of the Slammer Tour should change to "be prepared" and prepared we were for the hard steady rains that hit us for 4 holes mid round today. Umbrellas, jackets, bag covers......all sprung into action as we hit the back nine. But nothing stopped the Slammers and we kept the pace until the skies cleared again a few holes later. Some notable scores were posted today with many shooting well below their averages...Congrats again to Pepilepu for breaking 80! Tomorrow is Championship Sunday of the Ottawa Sun Scramble and will see the finals take place at Eagle Creek for the Men's Open, Ladies Open, Senior Open and Juniors....good luck to all and congrats on a job well done by the EG team!
