Falcon Ridge

A slight delay getting going at Falcon Ridge. As we arrived at the event today, we were informed that the course was closed until further notice because of heavy rains that had hit the area a half hour before. The Slammers took it in stride and gathered to hit balls on the range, had putting contests, gave tips and admired swings and duffs. Soon enough we were given the green light to head out to the tee and the Slammers were off. All of us teed it up with steady showers but by the time the last group was on the first fairway, the skies had cleared and we stayed dry for the next 12 holes. Light showers stayed with us for the remainder of the round, but it takes more than a few raindrops to stop these Slammers! Congrats to those who improved their standings today for the Commish cup...only 2 more events left to qualify!
