The annual trek during Indian Summer to the "Gem in the Heart of the 1000 Islands". Wow, to quote my favourite OC summary writer (Chilly) "the vistas are breathtaking". I sure saw a lot of use of cameras, with at least 4 Slammers and many other EGers using many different backdrops. There was blue sky everywhere, coloured leaves both on the trees and all over the ground. speaking of colours, we had some to shoot for on #13 - The Rock. I wonder how many slammers hit how many rocks. I know that I did and saw some pretty incredible bounces. Most of them were positive bounces, but we only hear about the bad bounces when we are in the 19th. While this theme seems to be about colours, what about the red stakes that have the green lid? Is everybody clear?

  • Honourable Mentions go to Dr U for leapfrogging over 171 slammers to move into #8, with 2 birds {one of which was good for a skin on hole 11 - Hawk's Valley}. To Rulz for getting a bird, a skin and a dog {all on 16 - Shorty). ZenGirl also gets an HM by making Grumpy not be the only slammer to go 0-3 on the day.

  • Malone 10 holes Grumpy and we all know that the system, when we have a shotgun start, doesn't always show it properly {i hope to hear from others if there were any 10holers - Dr U didnt 11 hole Rulz he actually needed 13}, so he made sure by extending the trounce by a few more holes.

  • In his inaugural event, we want to welcome CoolHandLuke, and express our condolences for losing FOURTEEN golf balls, i hope we gave him back the one he left as a doggie on the "Upper Ridge". Hey CoolHandLuke, I only lost nine and actually got to hit my 5th one 17 times.
