Here in Ottawa and the rest of the Northern hemisphere, the first day of the autumn season is here. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the summer solstice with the double header Slammer extravaganza at Mountain Creek...and here were are. FALL. But Fall is not a sad time for Slammers, it's a great time! It's like an alarm that goes off and all Slammers wake up and go nuts because we know there are only so many golf days left in the season and we have to take every opportunity to get out there. Remember the fall days of 2010 where events were selling out in under 10 minutes? Well, it's that time of year again! CRRRRAZY! And then there is that illustrious battle for the top - who will be our #1 ranked Slammer when the snow flies this year? Those safe days of summer are over, Go for it! Challenge yourself! Go for the top and grab one of those Slammer hats that the Commish is offering up for anyone who takes over the #1 spot in their division. Good luck to everyone in round two of the EG Club Championships tomorrow.
