It was a hot, hot, hot event today not only weather wise but more importantly golf wise as lots of low scores and close matches were registered at the Slammer event today at Stonebridge. The tees have been shortened for playability but still with the fescue the course can play tough if you don't keep it on the fairway. The greens were faster than the practice area, the fairways were in great condition, the Slammership outstanding, the match play golf enjoyable and addicting and did I mention the thirst quenching, ice cold beverages on the 19th hole. All in all another great event made possible by the Slammers in attendance!!
