Falcon Ridge

We take it upon ourselves, to lead off the Royal Oak kick-off day. We arrive at the course, and see that the buzz has already started, Stevie Ray, Malone, Littlest Ticklar, and FrenchHooligan's family are all busy setting up the course. We see that Jewel, Fuzzy, and Rulz are busy as well getting things arranged. We start asking questions. What happened to the challenges and groups? It is a good thing that half the field are rookies, and that five of them are playing in their first event ever, so less questions. Ripzone phones in and bails due to an inury. Although he too has the hernia problem that Grumpy has, his injury is foot driven. A little teebox juggling and off they go. Dave Sneyd (pronounced Snead) arrives a little late for his inaugural event, and one of the advantages to having an OC that is not playing in the event, is that I hear him getting the wrong instructions. I drive him out to the third teebox, where he is now down two holes to all three opponents, but does end up with the name Slammin Sammy {he said his nick would be Sammy - then he met PEARL.}
