Golfing days don't get much better than this and with any luck there are many more ahead of us before we have to call it a year and move indoors. With a new clubhouse under construction, possibly inaugurated by a Slammer golf ball today and no plans for an afterparty there wasn't much of a wrap up for the Slammers that stuck around other than to award the money. As usual there were still tales of grandeur, and tales of not so grand, as well as stories of young and eager, and those of old and bitter. Ah the life of a Slammer, it's a shame so few get to experience it. Lastly I would be remiss not to wish the 2011 Slammer INTERSECTIONAL Teams who head out to play tomorrow the best of luck in all your matches.
