Shorts, sun screen and Slamming Slammers on a great course made for an outstanding Thanksgiving weekend Slammer's event. Not sure the day before the event how many Slammers would Slam. But the forecast for a spectacular weekend and the challenges of the course brought out a full slate of styl n Slammers. With a slope of 127 from the whites, BCC compares in difficulty for a bogey golfer to the Marshes and Stonebridge from the blues. And the course managed to take out some Slammers while others rose to the occassion to shine in match play and individual performances. There was a nice mix of Slammer talent in attendance today with 6 C classers, 4 D classers and 2 B classers. During this long weekend we should give thanks for all the blessings that we enjoy and we should give thanks to the golf gods for this wonderful golf weekend, the entire golf season, the enjoyable and competitive Slammer Tour, the extended family of Slammers and that we are swinging the clubs on the right side (upside) of the fairway. TAN CO DOGGIES: 3 doggies won today worth 20 bones each with 2 going to Sunny and a puppy taken home by Cuddy. Great job!!

DOGGIE NOTE: Roscoe had a great tee shot 8 feet from the pin on the first par 3!!

FIT for GOLF SKINS: 6 no 7 skins won today worth 9 bones each with 2 going to Roscoe, one going each to Cuddy and Sunny and 2 no 3 going to TJ. Congratulations!!

SKINNIE NOTE: TJ our meticulous Skin Master reports 6 skins not 7. He misses (and so does the auditing) his 3rd skin on hole 13 which is his only birdie of the day!!
