Not such a big deal! We started last season on March 17, and played our second event on the 18th. By tomorrow we will be one event behind last year's pace, due to the cancellation of the Casselview event. On Wednesday we will be back on pace. OH YES, those first three events last year were a few hundred miles south. These are right here in the NCR. The conditions were wet but all else was ok, especially for the sailor {I mean the real one and not the 'toot toot' spinach eater}. The shorts and skorts were a plenty, and as green as yesterday's event was, today was surely orange day at Cedar Glen. Many last minute changes, and we ended up with the full compliment of twenty Slammers. Seven go undefeated, as we end up with six ties (three for RedDog, who although undefeated drops three spots in the rankings - TOUGH DAY}.

  • Much ado has been said thus far, with so many Slammers showing up having shed all those pounds. There was a mention on Facebook, and yesterday, everybody was pleasantly shocked to see Ripzone and Sunny. Today add Hacker and Chef to the list. Ozone has also lost 15.

  • Hey Stevie Ray and pointZero, we better get a new picture for the Cedar Glen events. Fuzzy and Chef aren’t recognizable.

  • Welcome to today’s three rookies playing in their first events, They are Whiskey, High Five, and Snake. Also making a welcomed return to the Tour is the Enigma. Reminder, that we have many new incentive plans for recruiting, both here and with our new GTA chapter. I encourage you all to read up on them, and/or ask questions.

  • Honourable Mentions today go out to three Slammers. Two were mentioned at the event and I missed one. First off an apology to you, Whiskey. Inaugural event, and you go undefeated and start your career in the top 30. The other two that were announced are that aMUISEing couple of IronMan and Pizza Maiden. No losses went home in that van, she with a 3-0 record and he of the 1-0-2 variety.

  • Hacker played 18 holes today BAREFOOT! He will have to wait another day to collect his 100th career doggy {only six others have done this}.

  • Par three #15 – Ticklar hits his tee shot down the ice on the pond. It rolled up the bank, but rolled back down to end up between ice and bank. Looked unplayable! Standing on the ice, Tick hit the ball like a bunker shot to 10 feet. He then proceeded to 3 jack. A good save – spoiled.

  • The skins and dogs are all reported on the right, but THANK YOU Hacker and Iron Maiden for doing a fantastic job as masters {and mistress – thanx for printing for me also!}

  • First hole and DeeJay starts off with a birdie for a skin, then to quote him "It all went downhill from there." Go ahead - have a peek. However he did achieve a milestone yesterday becoming only the 26th Slammer to play in his 150th event. He also was the 18th golfer to get his 50th career dog.

  • Popeye, Ozone and RedDog have all cracked the top 100 in career events. ZenGirl's win over Snake was good enough for her 300th career point {32nd}. Akeem was 67th to get his 150th point when he beat BearCat. Bubba beat Billiards to join the 100 point club on Saturday.
