Was the weatherman right or wrong? Micro climates? Timing? We are not sure but 20 Slammers went out and enjoyed a wonderful day of match play golf with only a sprinkle on one hole and the protection of the golf gods. Eight rookies including 2 first timers graced the event, leaving their mark on their matches and on the 19th hole. A great combination of vets and rookies spanning the spectrum of all classes made this event enjoyable and interesting. Three undefeated records were on the line today and only one came out still undefeated. Today marks the 40th outdoor event played on Tour so far this season, well on our way to having a record number of events. Thanks to all the Slammers for making this another successful and enjoyable event!!
