It was off to Montebello for the Slammers today. Six made the trip to a course that offers scenery that can best be described as spectacular. It is truly a gem! The course has listened to its patrons and slowed the greens down this year, although some of the Slammers would rather see the old lightening fast ones. As always the treatment from the staff was first class. The weather was perfect, warm but not humid with a slight breeze to help keep the bugs away. For those who have never played this course, you're missing out on a great challenge.

  • DOGGIES: Five potential doggies on the course today but only three yielded to the Slammers @ 10 bones a pop: IronMaiden to within 15ft on #6, HighFive happily leaves a ball within 12ft on #13 and AgoSach closes it out on #17 getting inside of 20ft

  • UNOFFICIAL SKINS: One short of official status everyone laid down the entry fee regardless. AgoSach grabbed 15 bones thanks to five skins with IronMaiden close behind taking 12 bones on four unofficial skins (see how I broke that up?) with 3 bones left for the kids to pick over

  • HM: IronMaiden throws her back out late in the round but fights on through the pain. Wins 1 of 2 matches, cashes in a doggie and 4, count em 4, unofficial skins. Even though she was walking kind of funny, she merits a Honourable Mention

  • Special thanks to IM for so adeptly handling the Evolution Physio Skins report
