Metcalfe (Junior)

So this was it - the final event in the inaugural season of the Kevin Haime Junior Slammer Tour. We had a return visit to the beautiful Metcalfe Golf Club and as always, we were well taken care of by staff in the pro shop, on the course and in the lounge. Though the forecast was a bit iffy, we managed to get our players through their rounds and back in the clubhouse just as the rain started and the thunder rumbled. It was a big day for Big T who paid a surprise visit to his tourmates and came away with 15 points which trampoulined him into the top 3 in points. Both Bamboo and GirlPower played in their 5th event each, the only ones to complete the entire tour. Way to go!! Thanks to all players and their encouraging parents from the coaches, Executive Golf and Kevin Haime. We all hope that the word gets out about our tour and that next year, we'll have a full slate of players and a longer tour.
