Our second Junior Slammer Tour event was a smashing success with tour rookies and vets smashing their shots down the fairways at Metcalfe. The course was in GREAT shape, and with some decent winds, posed a good challenge for our little Slammers. We tried a different format today with the coaches playing along side our players, and it worked out great - like having a rules official and golf coach of your own. And we crowned a new star today, or should I say a "par 3 constellation" - welcome DAWG!

Course Report

Though parts of the course were dry, the groundskeeper has done a great job keeping all the greens and most of the course in great shape. Oh, and Katie was very nice to all of us at the19th hole

If you wanted a skin today, then you better be packing "pars" because that's what it took on all but 2 skins - wait, one skin was won with a great birdie

4 par threes at this course with all of them giving up dogs - hole 7, into a strong wind couldn't stop Lil' Bulldog knocking it to 9 feet. All the rest went to Dawg at a remarkably consistent 24 feet!

coaches came through with good rounds too, several strokes under their scoring averages, they stoked their cards with an eagle and several birdies between them

honorable mentions for showing constantly displaying the values our tour - Bamboo and Girl Power
