  • TC ‘B’ match - Chubs eliminates Lucky to move into the finals. Now Lucky can go on his trip without worrying about the next match. Chubs advances to the PromoMedia B Final(awaiting springlakes/Popeye). Chubs could have been home helping his wife prepare for his 72nd birthday party, but instead, he was seen before his match putting on his rain wear and wondering to himself...

  • TC match – PARS 2000 A-Class. Due to Rulz’ living conditions, it is hard for the Commish to get his matches in. We waited this long for Woodsy to take him out on the 14th hole. Woodsy advances against Tadpole in the FINAL FOUR.

  • Can you imagine the irony? Iron Maiden is here, Irons is here, LongIron is here, IronMan is also here, but he is not slamming. Has there ever been so much iron at a slammer event? With this much iron, Popeye could have played and not needed so much spinach.

  • Thank you Lucky for doing such a quick tabulation of the skins (in such legible writing). THANKS! Each skin was worth 66 bones. Stevie Ray (with some assistance), collected the doggie bones and balls. Each of those puppies were worth 53 bones.

  • Look at the chart on the right and notice only one double winner. Congratulations Ssssnake!

  • It was a good thing that we did not have to announce the three stars at the event. For this three event Club Championship, the first star receives four tickets to the Ottawa 67s. The second and third stars each receive a pair. There were only three Slammers that went 3-0, five Slammers that went 2-0 and six others had 2 wins and a tie. Then the OC gets home and starts to find the errors in the score cards and group sheets. Two more ties were discovered. The e-mail went out to all of the people that had to switch their blue pieces of paper. A total of 23 Slammers went undefeated because seven other groups only had a single match. What other criteria would be used to determine the day’s three stars? Newfie winning his first match and jumping 395 rungs up the ladder. The other 14 upsets that had these ladder jumpers ... PuttPutt 199 steps, FrenchHooligan 136, CannyJack 118, Juice 81, Snake 66, PizzaMan 43, Pouf 40, ZenGirl 38, Chill 34, Lucky 33, or ToothFairy 18.

  • Hopefully, you read the Summary first. Well, those three top Slammers went undefeated, and there was no movement at the top of the ladder today. Tomorrow the top four Slammers will be defending.
