Welcome to the first of what I hope to be many, Myrtle Beach trips. This is actually the second summary of the year. the first would have mentioned that Legends Heathland - where we were to play yesterday was soaking wet. As is true Slammer tradition, we still went out, and there was putting thru puddles by some. The event got called, so see the first notable over to the left and see 'who came to golf'. But I can tell you this... of the 36 matches - there were 20 upsets. Ten Slammers played in their first ever event. The scoring average that is written over there on the right states 104, however we have a lost scorecard, and the true average is 97.

  • Their names are Malone, Rio, McGoop, Bare, ShortStack, TallStack, Grumpy and non-Slammer Pierre Villeneuve {EnOui!}. Too much rain for the busload? Well as soon as their bus left the parking lot at Man-O-War, the clouds closed. We have pictures to prove that the sunglasses were needed, the sunscreen was worn, and the shadows on the green were to be contended with. The busload went grocery shopping and knew what they were in for when the ELITE EIGHT got back.

  • Only two skins today - see the column below on the right and see that McGoop adds 52 bones to his new total. Sunny had the other skin and during his introduction - it was pointed out that he was only 27 away from the 1000 bone club. He gets the first milestone of the year, but NOT the last in Myrtle Beach for this tour.

  • Sunny recruited a couple of his Sun buddies and both Ceejay and Bainesy won a 43 bone doggy. Some non-rookie named RipZone won the other. Will it be lost at the poker table?
