The Slammers were treated to a double weekend dose of Casselview eventing and today four groups showed up bright and early like RoadWarriors to tee off into a Jewel of a morning August sun. Lucky for us there was only a slight chill in the air but we did not feel like Intruders at this, the home of the Commish's Cup. The Pipeline might be running through the fields in coming years but today only Gators were seen in the tall grass with Rakers in the bunkers. "No, I'm certainly not a Bagger" was heard on the 19th hole as we discussed the upcoming Ottawa Sun Scramble that will debut with a Small Pak of BigGuys in the field and even a guy named Richie will let a Flyer or two go at the Fly up the Valley. Pepilepu did the Doggies and PizzaMan the skins and IronMaiden wrapped up the day with the three stars presented for some super displays of outstanding match play golf. Just another fun day on the Slammer Tour.
