Twenty four Slammers united at Predator today to take advantage of every moment of this last long weekend of Summer and there was clearly one superstar at the course today....an electromagnetic superstar that is! Yes, the storm that hit the area on Monday afternoon came as the Slammers started the back nine and the groups were on the 12th through 14th holes as the horn sounded to return to the clubhouse for cover. Snake, PizzaMan, Spud, Popeye and Turtle didn't make it in and took cover at the hutt near the 16th hole....the same hole where visible ground strikes were photographed after the storm passed. You can see this phenomenal photo taken by Snake on the ST Facebook page. In the end, twenty two Slammers went back out on the course to finish off the day with just enough daylight for the sixth group to putt out on the 18th hole. We are a hearty bunch us Slammers, thank you to all for making it a memorable one!
