Welcome to two rookies today -- PrEaCh (have to ask about this capitlization!) and Knailz who actually did play a round in 2009, but that's ancient history, so we'll call him a rookie anyway!

Today's round gave us a lesson in being aware of the rules. At Greyhawk there are tees that have both blue and white on them. These allow players who want to have some variety to play various distances. These tee-markers are separate from the normal blue and normal white tees. One of the players today who was supposed to use the blue tees used these blue-white tees. After nine holes, he realized that he'd made a mistake. Although he was ready to disqualify himself, in actual fact in match play there is no penalty for teeing off from the wrong place, except that your opponents can require to tee off from the correct place. Since his opponents made no such requirement, his round stands as is. See rule 11-4(a).

There were five par 3s today but only four were hit for dogs. Gathering in the woofers were Bookie (#4), Kadaver (#7), Malone (#12) and PrEaCh (#17) -- the last was won with a shot three feet from the hole!

There were five skins won today: Pukey J. (#2 with a par), Kadaver (#9, birdie), Flyer (#14, birdie), Malone (#16, birdie) PrEaCh (#17, birdie).

Thanks to Gator for announcing the dogs and to Supersy for presenting the skins -- for the first time -- well done.
