Good morning, we are on the way to Eganville for the Slammer Tour's first double header of the season. I LOVE mountainous golf! The phone rings at 6:15 - it is Bubba {at the cottage in the valley}. See the first quotable. We arrive at the course and the gate is still locked. All is well, and at 7:45 the last Slammer arrives. We are the only ones at the course and we are voting whether to start or wait. You see - Bubba's announcement was wrong. The clouds were ominous, and had opened up. We decide to head to hole one. Dressed with all the weather gear. Hole one - par three and nobody (him again) hits the green. Halfway down the second fairway the rain stops and see the final quote at the end of the double header. Diesel is away on vacation - but Ryan took good care of us. What thunderstorms?
