The qualifying is over, the ranks are locked and loaded and The Run for #1 is now at its peak as we begin day one of our final weekend. All divisional number ones were given a free pass into the final Sunday of this 2014 season and any in the field today got to play a "fun" round without any worries of losing their locked rank. But the fight continued for all others trying to earn a chance to play in the final four. Thirteen groups of Slammers were originally slatted to play this event at Canadian but a rare "hard frost" was threatening overnight and this event was moved to Falcon Ridge for an 11am shotgun start... with still no guarantees that they would be able to open at all given the forecast. But the sun rose Saturday morning and alas! No frost and the sun was shining making a cool day not only bearable but truly enjoyable. In the end, we had nine full groups of Slammers participating in this event with only one last minute bailer. Good luck to all as we make this final run. What a memorable season this has been!

Falcon Ridge is always the hostess with the mostess and got us out onto the course that was still in amazing condition for November....and served up the most delectable of dishes and drinks on the 19th!

#4 STAR BISCUIT O'SHUMKA has been improving his game at an incredible pace and continues to improve his shot making taking less and less each round. Going 3-0 in a group of fellow D Class Slammers, Buiscuit O. looked more like he will be in the C Class starting out next season...and will be playing Potter for the Super Senior title on Sunday

#5 STAR EEYORE went undefeated today in a foursome where he started out the day with a 0-8-1 lifetime record. Eeyore defended against Rulz and Bobo and squared the match with Spud. One birdie held up for the skin and he claims a dog on the 9th leaving it a mere 3ft from the pin

CULLIGAN DOGGIES: 175 bones in the pot making each dog 43 bones with one each to PizzaMan (#5, 12ft), Eeyore (#9, 3ft), chill (#14, 23ft) and FingZ (#16, 11ft)

DYNAMIC PHYSIO SKINS: Almost half the holes netted a skin with a total of eight skins, one with a par on the always tough 4th hole and the rest with birdies @ 21 bones a piece
