Kingsway Park

Easter Monday, a time for renewal and hope. How appropriate as the Slammers teed it up at Kingsway. While the forecast was for rain, twas the Sun that greeted us for the bulk of the round causing jackets to disappear as fast as the last vestiges of snow. Signs of renewal were everywhere from the grass beginning to find its true colour of green to the multitude of flora peeking up at us as the ground slowly yields its winter hold. And with it comes the hopes of the Slammers for maybe, just maybe, a few more doggie and skin wins, a better scoring average or perhaps a TC title or two. Alas, as golf is want to do, for many those hopes were crushed on the very first tee. But there will many more opportunities. Ah, Slammers were slammin' folks and if that ain't a sure sign of spring then I don't know what is.
