Another perfect golf day with warmth, sun and a light breeze to cool things down. And a 3 PM start on a Friday at a course which is close enough to get to on time on a shortened Friday work day makes for a great start to the weekend - Slamming. Chateau Cartier is one of those course you love to play or one that brings out other less favourable feelings.. Summer course conditions reflected hard fairways which gave shots a lot of roll and greens were tricky but inconsistent. The lack of rain is starting to be noticed around the region particularly at course which do not have an adequate water supply. Some scored very well due to the summer course conditions and some had some personal Slammer Tour bests. These conditions made for some very close matches as the outcome of 6 matches were determined on 18 and 9 were determined on 16 or 17. And as always on the 19th hole, nobody missed any putts. Overall it was a great day of Slammin.
