Smuggler's Glen

It's day one of our annual trip to Smugglers Glen and the Glen House resort in Gananoque and though many of us have made this trip year after year the view never ceases to take your breath away as you drive up to the first tee overlooking the mighty St Lawrence River and the 1000 Islands. And then you really lose your breath as you tee it up to drive over The Gorge to the first fairway! A high noon shotgun start under an overcast sky with temperatures in the mid teens set the stage for the start of a great weekend and fourteen groups of Slammers set a new record of participants for this yearly event. But the fun doesn't stop at the 18th hole for this event, no it does not! A kickin' 19th hole begins and continues over at the Glen House Resort where cocktails, a group dinner, prizing and a games room full of funness awaits the Slammers and all ClubEG members and guests. A little hot tubbing, pool splashing and fireplace burning were thrown in for good measure but those are all the details we will divulge. Thank you to Malone for all the hard work involved in putting this incredible weekend together and it truly gets better year after year!
