Day two of our Smugglers weekend and it started out a little earlier, a lot slower and somewhat cooler but dry. Can it get any better than this? Our love for this great game brings us all together and it's a bonus that we get to enjoy it at this most spectacular venue. Thirteen groups of Slammers were set to start at 10am but there were a few that decided to partake in extra sleep this morning and so only eleven groups were saddled up when the cart caravan left the corral. As expected, lots of fun was had by all last evening as we took advantage of the great facilities at the Glen House Resort. Some enjoyed the pool and hot tub, others hung out at the games room which offered ping pong, a shuffleboard table, billiards and foosball. A friendly card game that rhymes with joker started with three full tables and ended with Shortstack and Bruce Willis splitting the bones. So much fun and it's a wrap for another great Get-Away to Smuggs.
