Day 2 of Mona's Myrtle getaway and Mother Nature doesn't seem the be much of a sweetheart to the Slammers south of the border. The day started out fairly mild with temps in the low teens but as the day progressed it got cooler and wetter and by the time all eight groups of Slammers came off the course it was nearing the freezing point. But Heritage Plantation is such a beautiful and historical course and the Slammers were made to feel right at home as they gathered in the starters area in the shadows of 300 year old oaks in this golfing community built to rival the finest in the world. The Slammers were tested today with tough conditions but all had prepared for the worse and expected the best and I am proud to report that all thirty two completed their round. Tomorrow we take on Grand Dunes...Bring it on!

  • MILESTONE ALERT ! Shortstack played in his 100th Slammer Tour event today! Congrats and you will be receiving a Slammer Tour shirt embroidered to commemorate this event. Shortstack is the 56th Slammer to accomplish this milestone

  • CULLIGAN DOGGIES were a whopping 40 bones each with Malone and Shortstack taking one each on the front nine and GoTee taking both back nine puppies

  • DYNAMIC PHYSIO SKINS were 18 bones a piece with two for Fodder and one each to Gru ( 32 Slammers....a par skin! ), FingZ, Shortstack, McGoop and Herc

  • GRUMPY's STATS: Before today, the tour had 83 Slammers with 25 career skins. Who will be next? Both Gru and FingZ arrive in Myrtle Beach with 24. Look to the right and see that it couldn’t be any closer. Well they both started on the back nine. Both were playing their skin hole at the same time, as FingZ started in the group before Gru.
