Well the 2nd Slammer outdoor event of 2015 on Canadian soil saw a heavy dose of warmth and sunshine and along with it smiles and happiness were in abundance. With the superb weather came many solid performances. So many that selecting the day's three stars was extremely difficult. In fact we could have easily have had six stars on the day. What a great lead in to another great Slammer season.

  • Notable: Smitty does everyone a favour by sending an e-mail to Lucky looking for a ride. Good thing he did as Lucky was completely unaware that he was even playing at Dragonfly never mind OCing the event.

  • Notable: McGoop, in an effort to fend off losing to Smitty, doesn't go out on a limb.....no not McGoop, he goes out on the ice and plays a nice recovery shot.

  • Notable: Burnsy, who also has three birdies on his card, eagles #9 only to have Smitty cut him off.

  • Notable: Thanks to Bubba, with assistance from Dr.Pepper, for handling the skins and to IM for doing the doggies. Great help is always appreciated.

  • Notable: Thanks to Metro for graciously giving up his run at Sunshine and moving up to fill a gap in another group.

  • SKINS: A total of six skins on the day all a result of birdies, Smitty on #1 & #14, Burnsy on #3, IronMaiden on #7, Juice on #13 & McGoop on #17. Each skin was worth $13.00 with $2.00 for the kids.
