There were twelve Slammers extremely happy that Talon was put on the event card at the last minute. The course was in great shape and the weather was nothing short of spectacular. Lots of great scores and lots of great companionship.

  • Notable: RonBow steps up to the 18th tee and proceeds to put his drive in the water, takes a drop for two, hits three out into the fairway and watches as his fourth shot finds the green, takes one hop and drops in the hole for an easy birdie!

  • Notable: The groups tee off about 10min early. ShorTee is about 10min late meaning he catches up with his group on the 2nd tee. When its time to do the wrap up ShorTee is late, well he's actually at the bar, and misses his name called for a skin and a dog. No problemo though, he does get back in time to collect his winnings.

  • DOGGIES: Five par 3s all yield to Slammers today. Hole #4 goes to ShorTee (27ft), hole #7 belongs to Dannat (12ft), Lucky gets lucky on #7 (what do you expect) (12ft), hole #15 was taken by SpoonHead (51ft) and hole #17 is all HaleStorms (12ft). Each doggie was worth 12 bones.

  • SKINS: Lots of birdies cutting off birdies today with only four skins taken. Getting par on #2 is lucky for Lucky, while birdies were good for Dannat on #7, ShorTee on #8 and Crenshaw on #9. Each skin was worth $15.00.
