Day one of our annual trek to Bingo as we have affectionately nicknamed this trip that seems to be the official kick off to our Slamming season each year. Two big busses with one named the "Conk" and the other the "Primo" and each is trying to outdo the other. Which is more fun, has the best tunage, the best peeps...seeming like a close call. More importantly we are all learning a little more about our Slammer friends ...Does TwinDad have twins? Yes he does... NiceHair does indeed have good locks, LuvLife really does love life, ZenGirl is always in the zone, Lucky is often lucky...and BackFlash? Well some of us know that story from Ocean City in 2011...All in all a great start to our Bingo getaway. Hope all Slammers are having a good start to their weekend, IronMaiden

  • WELCOME ! A couple of newbies on this trip and we welcome Trickle Tickle and Rookie

  • HOLE IN ONE POT: New total is 630 bones with new entrants Newsy, SunShine, NiceHair, LuvLife, Chubs, Pozzo, Lucky, ZenGirl, Kaki, Shortstack, Swanny, Grasshopper, DJD, TwinDad, HalesStorm, Yipmeister, and Primo

  • NOTABLE: All Slammer Stars today will receive a $ 25 credit towards some shiny new Slammer gear

  • QuickSnap Doggies: There were four doggies up for grabs at Timber Banks and with a large group of nine Slammer groups it would be assumed that all would be hit and all would be hit close. That was not the case today as only two of the four netted a dog. Two happy Slammers you are thinking ? You bet ! Shortstack takes the dog on #4, 6 1/2 ft from the pin and IronMaiden takes the other one on #16, 13ft...Book end doggies that earn each 87 bones !

  • REAL FANS SKINS: Not a lot of birds were circled today but only birds took skins in this field of 35 Slammers with one each to Smitty, Shortstack, GolfGeek and NivLac @ 37 bones a piece

  • GRUMPY'S 10 HOLE CLUB: Trickle Tickle care of Chubs and LuvLife care of Primo and Jewel

  • THANK YOU to GolfGeek who volunteered for the entire weekend as skins master and helped to collect all the group sheets as the Slammers came off the course so that the numbers would be input into the system on the bus ride from Baldwinsville to Binghamton
